LaToya Patrice Seawood
LaToya Patrice, born and raised in the Portland Metro area, possesses a diverse network of personal and professional relationships, granting her a unique perspective on community service. In 2024, she and her family relocated to North Carolina.
During her time as an International Business major at Linfield University, she demonstrated her commitment to community service by fostering multicultural awareness on campus and establishing a mentor program for families in Yamhill County who had adopted trans-racially. After graduation, she continued her dedication to solving community problems by developing programs to support student career growth in North Portland. Professionally, she began her risk assessment career in insurance at Liberty Mutual and later continued in Human Resources for Portland’s top employers. She completed an MBA from at Portland State University, and continued to pursue a career in Human Resources, collaborating with organizational leadership at prominent local employers to create impactful employee resources and HR management systems.
Her journey as a working mom, led her to serve at a local private school, where she focused on reducing expenses and increasing revenue through recruitment, marketing, and fundraising.
When the pandemic struck, she temporarily shifted her focus to caring for her children at home. Eventually, she decided to combine her passion for community development, problem-solving, service-oriented mindset, and extensive business experience of over 20 years to establish Level Up Management.
Furthermore, LaToya actively contributed to her Portland community by collaborating with community leaders at the Rockwood CDC, aiding in the creation of the East County Business Bridge, which supports micro-enterprise growth. Additionally, she is the founder of Love INC East Multnomah County and the Portland/Vancouver Local Networking group of the Christian Community Development Association. Now as a new addition to the Fuquay-Varina community, she is member of the 2025 Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce Leadership cohort and she still holds her part-time Adjunct business professorship at Warner Pacific University supporting students remotely. She has already begun supporting professionals, businesses and organizations in North Carolina and is looking forward to serving more as her and her family settle into their new community.
Ronald Seawood Jr.
Ronald Seawood Jr. is an experienced Network Security Engineer and proud graduate from the University of Oregon. His expertise covers operations and risk management. With over ten years of experience in the IT industry, and a combined over 20 years in risk, finance, and marketing, Ronald has developed a wide array of expertise. His background includes insurance risk management, designing and implementing robust network security solutions, managing financial processes, and supporting business expansion initiatives.
Ronald holds certifications in Security+, Fortinet, and Cisco Firewalls and is proficient with tools such as SolarWinds and VMWare. In addition to his technical acumen, he is skilled in financial operations, helping businesses streamline processes, optimizing budgets, and ensuring compliance. His strategic mindset also allows him to support new business development, guiding organizations through scaling efforts and operational improvements.
In addition to supporting Level Up clients, Ronald leverages his expertise to enhance network infrastructures, security compliance, and financial efficiency at Global Insight. His commitment to professional growth is evident through his active participation in the IT and business communities, as well as his continuous pursuit of knowledge in risk management, emerging technologies, and financial management strategies.
Ronald’s ability assess risk, integrate technical expertise with financial oversight and business growth strategies makes him a valuable asset to any organization looking to fortify its IT security, optimize financial operations, and scale effectively.
